Abide's Spirit
We offer learning experiences that are guided by a worldview of interdependence and inspire children to integrate this way of being in their everyday life activities. Our primary purpose of is to sow seeds in children of (re)connecting with their innate goodness according to each child's capability. Our approach is centred on transformative learning experiences, fostering the development of wisdom and compassion.
Our aim is to nurture the inner being of children, a process that is both experiential and transformational. By immersing our homeschool community in this way of being and process of learning, educators and children alike, discover a space within themselves that is open, soft and radiant. The essence of this openness is love and kindness, for oneself and others.
Abide's Values
At Abide, learning is perceived as lighting a flame in each child’s being. We nourish in children a life long love for learning and being. Children are understood as whole beings from birth and each phase of their development is recognised and nurtured and not forced. The children are cared for and are treated with respect. The children are engaged in caring for their friends, the animal world and nature through socially and environmentally friendly activities.

Abide's Heart Wish
Our heart wish is to have a holistic and engaging learning environment for children. We strive to help our children work through challenges in a caring and supportive environment. One important way that we enrich our educational experience is by staying involved with our community, connecting to sense of place and local heritage.
